The Pacific CSO Trade Capacity Building Conference was the first regional CSO conference to be help on trade in the Pacific since a regional conference on globalisation, trade, investment and debt was held in Fiji in May 2001, from which PANG emerged.

The conference was attended by organisations from across the region and concluded with consensus on several important trade related issues as outlined in the Nadi Civil Society Communiqué.
